General Impression

As this was not my first time in Barcelona, I thought I couldn’t have to much of surprises. Actually I am kinda used to travelling. Because I have been doing it my whole life with my family. The negative point that I over kept of this experience is that I took a new destination for granted. During my stay in Barcelona I have seen many different facets of the city and the people. I have discovered many new places in Barcelona from which I wasn’t aware before. Due to this fact I have regained my ability to enjoy a new destination and be surprised by little geographic and social details. For example I went to Holland last week to visited my family and to celebrate the ending of Ramadan (eid al fitr). I experienced my neighbourhood big city’s Nijmegen, Utrecht and venlo in a different way. The weather was really cold, grey and depressing to begin with. The whole city went empty around 6 pm. By half past six I had to leave a cafeteria because they were closing!! I didn’t notice this before, maybe because I got used to it over the years. But know all I could do was to be glad to come to Barcelona again. I love Barcelona for the fact that it never sleeps, everything is possible within every hour, at least the leisure activities and the night life.
