Assignment 1: A place in Barcelona where I´ve been to

Right next to the metro station Mundet, the green line in the direction of Canyelles, you find a park called Parc del Laberint. This park is not in the center of Barcelona, it is in the west and almost outside Barcelona. Most of the tourist don´t even know this place, because it is not in a guide book or other tourist information and it is outside the city center. So what I want to say, is that there are almost no tourist and then when I visit this lovely park. There were just a few people so it was a very quiet place an beside that it was a peaceful place it is really beautiful.

The park is inspired by an arabic style an you can see the details on the houses you can find there. The houses are really big and when you enter the park you can see the first one. The houses are pink from the outside and it has a big garden with a fountain in the middle of it. There were people living in this house earlier and you can say they were really rich. When you walk a little bit further, there is big garden with small water falls and places where you can sit down. But I have to mention the details of these seperate places, beacause they are amazing, just fabulous and so small you have to find them.

There is also a part for love pairs where they can walk into small paths and find a place to relax. It is just great to go there with your boy/ girl friend, I can tell you, because it is romantic and quiet.

You can see in the name of the park that there is a maze in the middel of the park and it gives an extra dimension to the park and just a funny aspect. You have to find the exit, and before that you first have to find the middle of the maze, there is a fountain that is so nice to see.

If you walk a little bit further there is another house in the same style as the other one I mentioned before. The house has a big swimmingpool behind with also so many details.

And after that there is also a forest zone, where you can walk between nice trees and smell the fresh air. When you end the forest zone you see some ducks in a small water swimming and making noice all the time. They are really curious to see you and we liked them also.

I just have to say that everybody must visit this park, because it is really beautyful, quiet, peaceful, unexpected, amazing and the best part of this all that there are almost no tourists!!!!!!
