Assignment 4

Before I came to Barcelona I had some expectations because I´ve been earlier 1 month in Malaga.

But never before in Barcelona.

So, I knew only something general about the city of Barcelona and a little bit of spanish culture.

My expectations concerned about late time to go out, have a dinner at late time, mañana- way of thinking

(our appartments hot water works mas o menos, the same point is with the heat and washing machines etc...but maybe mañana!!), cheap wine in the supermarkets, crazy traffic with the cars and smoking everywhere!

But still, even I knew those things before, ín the beginning it´s always some kind of culture chock!

First of all our appartment felt uncomfortable, but day after day the situation is better!
Except, when it´s only cold water in shower and heat off, I miss home! Pero mañana...

Also the late time to go out and eat dinner almost in the night time, they feel quite normal already.

As few of us wrote already about this, I would like to say also my opinion of services for example in supermarkets.

It said that in Finland people, who is working in customer service, they are unhelpful people.

But it really isn´t true when compare finnish and spanish customer service. Here they don´t say Hello or Hola actually never, don´t look to eyes and it feels that they are very fed up with their job!

But this 1,5 month have been very wonderful time!
Time is running out very fast but still there´s almost half left!

So, let´s enjoy about it!

Hasta luego!!
