Assignment 4.

Before coming to Barcelona for Erasmus I had never been here before. I know many people have been here and everything that I heard about the city was positive. I had heard about the beautiful architecture and about how it is a city break with a difference because of the beaches. I didn't expect what it actually is though. I come from the second city in England but that compares in no way with Barcelona. There is more to see and do here, the surroundings are a lot nicer looking and there is the added bonus of a better climate. I have learnt a lot about Catalan culture and also about the diffrences between England and Catalunya. Time keeping for example. Catalunya is a lot more laid back than England is. The food culture is very different to. No "proper" chips for the English girls chip butties!!! (Grahem should understand this). I will also miss the fact that in Barcelona the public transport actually works!! I am not looking forward to waiting for delayed trains in the rain in England!!! This is what I have found about Barcelona but I can say that the city has exceeded any expectations that I had.
