Assigment 2:

The thing I´ve noticed is that catalan people are really proud of their routs. Yes, spanish people are also but it seems that the catalan people are extremenly proud because they are still part of Spain but they want to show everybody that they really are catalan and NOT spanish! And even that Catalunya is part of Spain they have their own flag and own goverment. And this is really important for catalan people because this way they can feel seperated from Spain. But the fact that they want to be seperated from rest of Spain doesn´t meen that they hate or dispate Spain, catalan people just wants to be catalan.

Catalan people in many ways reminds me about The Aland Islands in Finland. They have also their own flag and own representer in finnish goverment. They have their right to decite things concerning them but they still are part of Finland. In the other hand Catalan people and their culture is more strongly in the public awaireness than the Aland Islands culture. I think it´s that way because the Catalan culture is more special and different and they have stronger feelings to became independent than the Aland Islands.
