My first assigment is about Parc de la Ciutadella. This park is located in the El Born area net to the Barcelona Zoo.
Parc de la Cituadella is the largest and most beautiful park of Barcelona. It's different from all the other parks because it hasn't really a botanic or architectural value. Parc de la Ciutadella is more interesting for it's social life.
In this park you will find broad avenues, narrow paths, abundant vegetation and city birds, like pigeons and sparrows.
In the middle of the park there are two buildings, known as Palacio de Velázquez and palacio de Cristal, where art exhibitions are sometimes held.
A very nice to thing to do in this park is taking a little wooden boot and go on the lake for half an hour and relax. You only have to pay 1 euro 50.
The people come for a lot of reasons, for example reading books, making a chat, searching for some intimicy, old folks feeding the birds and on Sunday's families meet here for a picnic.
It's a park which I really will recommend to all of you!!
