Assignment 4

I did not have much expectations before I came to Barcelona. I have lived here for about two months few years ago so I knew some of the things which I came to face here. But there are still things which I will maybe never get use to. The first one are some forms of customer service. Sometimes you have to wait so long, for example to have your cup of coffee when waitresses first talk trough their rumours with their friends or collegues...no reason to hurry...It took also time to remember siesta times, that it is not possible to go shopping in the middle of the day. But there are also good sides in the siestas. It is always a good excuse to have a nap :) I really love to sleep so it has been hard to me to learn to leave bars so late. In Finland we normally start our parties much earlier and we go to the bars around eleven o´clock. Our spanish roommate says always that finnish people are crazy and that we do everything at the wrong time including eating hours, going out etc. But one thing that I really like in the local people is that they seems to be much more openminded and they speak much more than we do.
