Assignment 3 : Parc de la Ciutadella.

I just realised that Mariska just had posted her assignment about this park as well, still I decided to post mine as well since it seems like we visited the park on different days.

This Park is located next to the zoo, and it’s easy to get there if you go off at the Barceloneta metro stop. This park has a nice green area, which is a great place to relax and escape the hectic city. However I would recommend going there on a Sunday afternoon. At these days there are lots of people hanging out there. Many of them have brought their drums, and lots of people sell handmade arts and crafts. You will find improvised barbeques where you can get good, cheap meals and drinks. It is a great place for watching people. On Sundays people play drums, dance, juggle, eat, drink, relax or they are simply just being high. High on life or other chemical substances.

I really enjoyed my visit to this park. It has a great atmosphere where those who are there, really seems to enjoy themself. Apperantly this “Sunday event” will go on throughout the year as long as the weather permits it. Check it out. The pictures are from a Sunday in the end of September.

Note: pictures will follow shortly
