Assignment 3 Culture Event
WINETASTING
I went with some friends of mine from Norway to Torres for wine tasting. They had got a special deal from Norway and we got a special guide by ourselves. So we had the main tour with the movie, winecellers, museum and normally tasting. But the special part was that we were invited to eat with the guide and a manager (who travells to Norway to make the deals with the restaurants and the winemonopoly) in the private restaurante of Torres. There we had an exellent lunch with the best combinations of wines. The wine I prefered was "Mas La Plana 1997" together with Catalan Chesses, but the dessertwine "Moscatel Oro" with Crema Catalana was also one of the really good ones.
The service they showed us was amazing! But the top of the service was when the manager saw the bottle of wine (Mas La Plana) that my friends had bought: He told us that this wine actually was more expencive here in Spain than in Norway, and he told us "no way" and drove us back to their shop to get the money back! He recomeded us a wine which we dont get in Norway at all...and then we all got a bottle of wine and a folder with information about Torres related to Norway! "Amazing service" I thought when they drove us back to the trainstation.....
